    New engine builder????

    I have not but their prices seem reasonable on their crankshafts

    i have never heard of them

    it has the feel of sbt website.. it reminds me of there site for some reason..

    but the prices seem decent.

    I too see the resemblance of the website, but they are located in Manorville NY, SBT is in FLA if I'm not mistaken.....

    I guess I didn't notice that untill you guys mentioned it, but now that you have i agree! Yes SBT is out of Florida. Its a long shot buy maybe they by chance ended up with the same web designer.

    It does look similar to sbt, but I think it might just be the pics of the motors, shortblocks r us has a similar look

    i wonder if any of the other guys (yamaha..seadoo) have had any work done by them..

    Yup... prices are good.

    I'm doing a 720 seadoo engine for a customer right now, and the engine was $1125 shipped to my shop. (2 year no fault) Depending on his shipping... he's about $150 less on that engine. (removing shipping charges)

    OK... it may not be as good of a deal.....


    I just read though there stuff, and you have to ship your engine to them first. When you get an SBT engine, they ship it to you, and include the return shipping in the price. Also, since you are sending them your engine, and they get behind, who knows what their turn around time may be.

    I'm not saying that SBT makes the best engines... but there is less down time with an engine exchange, and since you have to pay the shipping to them, the difference in the price starts to close up.
