R&D D Plate vs Jetworks Cat Converter Plate

R&D D Plate vs Jetworks Cat Converter Plate

I have a 2001 Yamaha GP1200R and was wondering what would be the best cat con removal plate to use or does it even matter. I'm just now trying to get back in to working on ski's again and the shop I use to work for always installed d plates.

Also, until the ski gets up on step a little right when its coming out of the water, it sounds/feels like the pump isn't getting a full bite of water. Once you get a little speed up and it levels out it will just about throw you off. Any idea what causing this?

    Thanks,
    D

Either one works, most use the r&d d plate.

If the ski is making a sharp turn when it gets up on plane check the intake grate. When mine broke it would make a sharp right turn when it got on plane
