    Ultra fuel light blinking

The fuel light on my 2002 Ultra 150 is blinking even when tank is full? I just bought this. Do I have to get a new sender or could something be stuck? I tried disconnecting the battery already. Thanks

commin problem with this bad gas now,you have to pull the sender out of the tank an clean the float so it goes up an down again, its probably stuck.not an easy job but can be done.in the hull.

Thanks can you ever get lucky enough to have it come unstuck on its own?

My 99' was hung up when I bought it. Had 1/8 of a tank and showed 3/4 for an hour or so. After some hard riding it freed up on it's own. But then after another day of hard riding it hung up again briefly. It is just a float in a vertical cage. In the off season I'm going to pull it and take a look, but for now it has only hung twice and has freed on it's own both times.

I have a similar story to witness, I got my 99 and it showed 6 bars roughly between 3/4 and full (I think). I took it out the first time rode the crap out of it and a friend rode it, it died on him and then it jumped down to LOW. He switched it to reserve and hauled ass back to shore where I assumed my float was sticking. I can live with filling it up and keeping track of what's in the tank, I'm taking care of that issue during the off season.
I'm with pokechop on hitting the big jumps, maybe that'll work
