Angry 2008 RXT-X Water in hull

I recently replace the venturi due to a bolt that stripped out. Now the yellow right angle fittings below the inter cooler are leaking water through the small indention in the center. These two things may or may not be related but it has me confused.

I though these hoses were used as a way to remove water from the hull through the use of vacum as the ski moves forward. It's doing the opposite. Any ideas on this are greatly appreciated.

when you took the pump off there were two holes at the top of the pump with O-rings. this is where the water comes out from the bailer tubes. check to make sure they are pulled out of the holes from the inside or recheck your Orings.

Those elbows should be above water level

    Guys--

The orings looked ok and unobstructed. I actually pulled the pump housing off twice. I am not sure what you mean when you said "check to make sure they are pulled out of the holes from the inside"

I think he meant AREN'T pulled off from the inside. Im not quite sure where the water you speak of is leaking from but if your just sitting in the water not moving it should not be coming from those elbows because they should be higher than the outside water level.

When you replaced the venturi did you replace the bailer tubes in the new one ?

I did not replace the bailer tubes, assuming these go inside the venturi.

Just curious, do the bailer tubes have a one way check valve to keep water from flowing in? If that fixes the problem I will feel like an idiot, but RELIEVED.

Those yellow valves need to be above the I/C. Do you have bailer tubes installed in the new exit nozzle? They don't come with them.

As mentioned, if you dont have bailer tubes in the venturi it will take in water.
