Anyone see this?
The History Channel has a cool new show called Swamp People.
Check it out. It will make you think twice about swimming @ Mudbugs.

just before you enter PP Bay. That show was pretty damn funny... I'm sure most of America considers all of SOLA in the same regards as the "Swamp People".
A few of my favorite scenes: "...he's a "tree shaker", I tell ya' - a "tree shaker"..." (I've never heard that term in my life, but then again I don't trap gators.)
The best scene: While trying to shoot a gator that was hooked: plink "miss-fire", plink "miss-fire", plink "miss-fire".... "damn, I forgot to load the damn gun...".
That was some funny chit.

yeah. i was also surprised that they were shooting the gators with a .22 rifle mostly.
its a neat show because it gives you a perspective on how some people down there live, but i think it might paint a skewed picture of things too.

I saw it too. Noticed the guy named Troy who caught the 13'er(Big Head) in Lk Verret was from Pierre Part. I wonder if G.L. knows him.

I know they did some filming at Gro's and the mosquito bar. It should be in one of the upcoming episodes. I'm pretty sure that Troy owns Duffy's restaurant in P Part.

I watched it, was good...Every time they did a wide shot I'd think outloud "DAMN, that looks like a nice place to ride! I gotta find that next time I'm there..."
Then my GF would freak out
