    BUDDS

well i dont really know much about it and i am thinking of getting a Seadoo from the 2010 line up..( maybe Rxp X or Rxt X).. now to my understanding after the 10 hour break in, your suppose to carry the ski to the dealer to clear the Budds, so that the rpms can go up or something???. Now my real question is, since there is no Sea doo dealers or in fact any dealer that sell Seadoo's in my country to do the service.. whats the worse that is gonna happen if the budds arent clear... i got some buddies with rxp x 09 an rxt x 09 and they do the servicing themselves such as supercharge servicing and oil change but never hooked it up to the computer and their skis run perfect.. so whats the worse???

I don't know about the 2010s, but 08s don't need to be taken to the dealer for anything. They just flash a maintence notice briefly when you start the ski. It doesn't effect performance at all.

Nothing will happen. A light will pop up on the display and flash at you, but thats it. Has no affect on performance. and if your dealer does all the resets when you buy the ski, the light never shows up. AT least it hasn't on mine after 12 hrs. and on my 2007 RXT it never showed up in 59 hrs.

RPM will increase as you gain hrs. up to 3-4 hrs you are limited to ~ 76-7700.(about 63 mph) Beyond that, and you get 8100, and computer controled speed of 68-70 on the skis GPS, and 68+ on Garmin GPS.

At 10 hrs my service light came on, and said that it needed service, but ski still ran fine. At 100 hrs, there is supposed to be another incident where you are supposed to service the supercharger. Dunno what will happen then.
