    Team Scott's stage 3 RXT results 74.7mph

just got off the water. Man this thing is fast!

I have to say with all the tricks team Scott's knows about these 4 strokes you have to give it to them. For about $4000 in parts you can have a 75mph rxt out the door.
IF YOU ARE COMPAIRING PRICES VS RIVA THIS IS AN AWESOME BUY.
I have read on this board tima and time again about people spending big $$$ on there rxt's to go faster. the riva stage 3 kit is $6000 just in parts, and they only claim 74-75mph.
Now keep in mind that I still have not yet filled the rideplate holes in trued the rideplate in our pintched down the nozzle size.
it turned 8500rpms at 74.7mph Im tickled pink!

yes sir. I think there is still 1.5-2mph there to be tweekend out. still to many rpms and hull needs to be trued. want to change the intake around a little. this boat will win any off shore race on the east coast ez.

I'm looking for an RXT right now...could buy shibby's...and then let you start getting parts and work done on it!

if you buy my rxp Ill build it for you for free. also long as you buy the parts. I can get that thing to run 78's all day. And knowing what i know now 80 is not out of the question. Plus I can get the turbo kit for you if you need it to run 85+

74+ .... that's certainly not 4 grand of parts at retail, you are getting most of those parts at dealer cost or a discount.

i know 74+ can be easily had on an RXT without the stage 3... if legit the stage 3 will only give 74-75, then it's a waste of money at 6k+ bc yes u can get an RXT to that territory for about 1500 bucks less.

however, there will be a different in acceleration no doubt about it.

    let me guess...

    custom air intake
    riva intercooler?
    rr sc impeller
    42# injectors
    solas prop
    RR ECU
    OPAS block offs
and some other small cheap stuff, like the exhaust you did.

with a good prop 74+ is no problem with that setup... hell Ray in puerto rico heat is going that fast with that setup, so up here where u guys live more speed is defintiely in there.

i foresee the riva stage 3 pushing 76+ since you can get their claimed 74ish out of a smaller supercharger.

?I don't know shibby, I just went to jerry's store added it all to the cart and it comes to $3790.45 plus pump wedge and his custom intake. so I would say $4000 is not out of the pic. now the intercooler is a RR one from markU.

ok that makes up for the difference.. the rotax setup is a couple hundred cheaper than the Riva...

that's the SC setup ur using did i guess rite? RR impeller and 42# injectors?

didn't mean to knock ur accomplishment bud... defintiely awesome speeds for a first test ride with a pretty mild supercharger setup.. commend urselves
