    Grab handle

I know this may seem lame on this forum, with all the talk about cam gears and SC wheels.
And I know I'm getting old and fat, but my FZS is a pain to get back on without a grab
handle, even some of my younger friends have trouble getting on it. Will any of the other models with handles interchange with the FZS rear hardware?

    Rick

It does have a step. It also has a handle. I pull the step down and kneel on the step with one leg while I reach for and pull myself up at the same time with the handle. Step on the step with your other foot and your're up.

You should try to board my SLX...

Yeah, it has a step, but it's very short and right up against the sharp edge of the reverse bucket.
I've got scrapes all over my knees, maybe I can get someone to bend me a longer step. That 2011
    looks really good!!!

you can use a regular sho grab handle aswell if you like it bolts right on, the thing with these skis is that they sit really high in the water and the rear doesnt sink alittle when your trying to get up, not like the gpr for example on the gpr you grab the grag handle and the rear sinks alittle where its real easy to get on..

I get on my fzr from the side. This allows the ski to tilt into the water making it easy to get a leg up. You just need to muscle yourself up with some upper body strength. And no, this won't flip the ski.

Just go underwater about 5 feet, get a running start, and up you go, like a dolphin.
