kawasaki cheaping out on the newer skis?

since i have been waiting like the whole summer for my stupid hood bracket, i decided to look up the 250 one. what do you know its different. both hinge parts are different part numbers, and on the 250 they are held together with a bolt so they can be taken apart. on the 260 it has just a rod u tap in and 2 plastic push rivets to cap it off, and this cannot be taken apart once together. check it.

    250

    260

yea except i been waiting on the new part for like a month, should have just ordered 250 parts, didnt know they were different till now. put more hours on my waveventure than my ultra so far this year.

also, i noticed the 250 parts are like half the price, since they are the same as the ultra 150 parts. the hood bracket for 250 is $36.75, and for a 260, same bracket is $71.33. so if anyone breaks their hood off, order ultra 250 parts
