Head up to those that do not ride with eye protection.

Well, I do not wear glasses most of the time when I ride because they fly off etc. Sunday on the way back to the ramp some kind of bug popped me right in the left eye and I was moving pretty good. It hurt but I was ok.

Woke up Monday morning and my eye was dang near swole shut so I went straight to the DR. They gave me some antibiotic drops that did nothing and I was miserable all day and night so I went back tuesday not being able to see out of that eye at ALL.

They gave me some different medicine and it seems to be working although my vision is blurred in that eye (like Im looking through saran wrap) Going to try to go back to work tomorrow and Im HOPING my vision improves or else I will he heading off to an Opthamologist.

Just a warning to those who ride or use to ride like me...

Good advice I always wear goggles. I get razed how I look like a dork but my sight is more important then the way people think I look.

I wore some Smith&Wesson mirrored shooting glasses w/a floaty attached to them...till I lost them in a fall last weekend. Had them for over two years.

    Now to find another pair.

I wear some Oakleys Flak Jackets, and use aquarium air line to keep them afloat if they fall

during the fall here in texas we got some small flying bugs that are kinda spicy!
Seriously! I had some get in my eye when I rode my motorcycle and it burned like hot sauce, also they taste spicy.
    worst experience ever!

i always keep 2-3 pairs of cheap polarized glasses in my ski, so if i lose one, i've got backup! one day riding back in the rain after loosing some $10 7-11 glasses and it felt like hail was enough for me to buy back ups. worth every penny.

Sunglasses and floaties for me as well. Keeps the water spray out too. Can't replace the eyes and we really need both of them. Good luck. hope you don't have complications and heal soon.
