Jet ski Anti-Theft security alarm - Possible? How? Where?

    Hello guys,

I would like to install an Anti-Theft security alarm on my ski just in case someone will try to harm it. I know that those kind of stuff can go bad on water (especially salt water) and therefore I am asking for you help.

Have you seen something like that? where can I buy it online? what is the best way to install such alarm?

    Thanks a lot!!!

I've actually been in the process of constructing something. Here's what I have going:

I trailer my ski. I keep it outside.

I was going to hook a cable around the trailer and front hook of the ski, running a 24v system. If the system was opened then it would sound an alarm. It's really simple, uses a 24v transformer, 24v double throw relay and a horn.

No one would even hear any of those at my house if I wasn't home. Some of those are probably water proof though, which is a plus.

I work with control systems so I have all the crap laying around at work anyway.

Not a theft deterrent, but you can find your ski and bring the rain to the mofos who took it.
