    Still won't START....

Starting this topic over again, maybe to get some different ideas.
    2008 RXT-X
The ski will not start, turns over and like fires for a split second and thats it. Some times when its turning over it sounds a little rough, like a knock.
    Checked:
    1.Changed the fuel
    2.Changed the spark plugs
    3.Changed the fuel pump
    4.Swapped ECU out
    5.Checked Coil Sticks
    6.Checked compression 145,145,125
7.Pulled valve cover - looks ok
    8.Fuses are all good
    9.Good Spark
    10.IAC valve replaced
    11.TPS replaced
    12.CPS checked by the dealer-ok
    13.Injectors all spray good
    14.Timing marks look ok
    15.BUDS show's no active codes
    16.Fuel pressure = 50
    17.?????What is left...........Damn this ski...................
Have the CPS and IAC valves on order. I stated on an earlier thread that the IAC valve
makes a rapid clicking noise when you pull the key off the post. Not sure out of the 3 or 4 valve's could make the ski not start, but swapping those could get costly. I'm sure the return policy on electrical parts is they don't allow returns. Any ideas on which valve it could be or any other ideas not listed above?

    Thanks

-check connectors on all those components, maybe a bent contact?
-check fuel pressure regulator, have you checked actual fuel pressure?

sounds like a fueling issue, pull the fuel rail and crank it, it should spray like crazy with the injectors on

Pull the fuel rail as stated above and crank the engine over and see what the injectors are doing. Your going to want to use something to keep the fule frm going everywhere.

Id be a little concerned about compression in the 3rd cylinder but that shouldnt prevent it from starting. Are you saying that it will only crank for a second and then go completely dead? At that point do you pull the key, put it back in and get the same result?

Maybe you answered this in another thread, but when did this start happening? Was it after a rollover or something?

I installed a new fuel pump, so if there was bad fuel pressure there shouldn't be now. With the old fuel pump I pulled the fuel rail and turned the ski over and the injectors had fuel coming out. I don't think it was coming out like crazy, but not exactly sure what it should look like. I have looked at most connectors and all look good.

    Thanks

No, you can crank it again and again, but it just barely fires over and doesn't start. The ski ran great one weekend the next all this. At first it would start after a few cranks but sounded a little rough but seem to clear up. Till now it won't start at all.

    Thanks

+1 it's easy to do have you checked it?

when you crank it with the plugs out do you have good spark?

Timing looked good for what I could tell. Also changed the IAC valve and the TPS valve on the TB out and still the same, ski won't start. I talked the Sea Doo service tech into hooking it up to the the BUDS system tomorrow morning. Hopefully it will discover something because I'm running out of ideas.
