Broken powervalve - where did it go?
Another engine failure for me yesterday. The stem of the powervalve for #3 cylinder snapped off. Piston was damaged but luckily the cylinder is fine. I'm wondering where the end of the valve went. I don't see it in the exhaust manifold (manifold and 1 & 2 are still installed). I'm thinking that valve is pretty heavy to travel up into the u-pipe. Took the waterbox off and I don't hear it bouncing around in there when I shake it.

it has to be in your exaust somewhere better take the complete exaust out and find it

I'm really surprised the broken valve didn't do more damage. The plug electrode is smashed, but other than the piston, everything else is good. No damage to the head. The valve broke and went straight out the exhaust port.
I have Wave Eater clips, but obviously they can't prevent this failure. POS powervalves
Still haven't found the valve - u pipe is still on

Took off the the rest of the exhaust today and the valve is nowhere to be found.
