Ultra 250 Off Throttle System??

I remember reading somewhere that the Ultra has some system that if you let off of the throttle suddenly at speed it will still generate some RPM's to maintain steerage. Anyone know the details of this?

It seems like a lot better idea than the dreaded OPAS of the SeaDoos. And you don't have all those potential failure points with the plumbing and block offs.

Ye your right on. Its been on a few Kawi models for some time now...

It works only if you let off the throttle and then turn the handle bars sharply. It automatically applies enough throttle so steering is still possible. Only bad thing about it is when approaching a dock you might not want any added throttle, especially when you don't expect it.

It only engages above certain speeds. Speeds faster than you should be pulling up to a dock. Ive never seen you dock a boat though..

That does sound like the system Polaris used on their MSX line and it works great, non intrusive yet there for the rookies who might need it. Question is, what rookie would be on an Ultra??
