New member and in need of some info.

Been looking into getting a ski for fishing. Saltwater in and off shore. I have no clue what ski would be good for the job. I'm looking at buying used and no more then 4k if possible. Want to be able to have a rack of some sort for extra fuel, cooler, etc. When it comes down to it there are tons of models and makes and that's what's got me messed up. 2 or 4 stroke all so? I read through all 6 pages of this section and didn't find much about a starting off guy and what skis are good. Sorry for being confused but it seems a ski is the best all round fishing vehicle and I am excited about the idea. Thanks and I hope you guys will be able to help me out. Kayaking gets old fast after a few miles haha.

Sounds a lot like what I do. This is how I do it.
There are several other examples posted here on this board as well.

83Gator has a great PVC rack design, with easy to read step by step instructions. Cost about 150 for parts and paint.
