Bought a motor with no pulse line nipples

What is the best way to seal the nipple to the block for my pulse lines? I bought a motor and the nipples were not in the block side. Thanks

I have not done one yet but here is what i would do:

Drill out so the nipples fit snug. I would mix up some JB Weld and brush it on the nipple and the inside of the hole in the cases. Then tap the nipples in with a rubber hammer. Clean up all the extra JB Weld before it cures. This is how I would do it. You do not want any air leaks.

    Welcome to the forum.

I just read your post again. You already have the holes so you just need to install the nipples right? I would use the method i posted above, minus drilling the holes. For some reason i thought you have an 03'-current set of cases.

I have done this, and I used 1/4 brass single barb threaded nipples. Drilled, tapped, and loctited them in.

OEM Yamaha nipples are pressed in place, i like WFO's method by tapping a threaded single barb in. No way they can come out that way.

Thats a bullit proof way. Now if you had the OEM Yamaha fittings, they just press in place and i would still use JB Weld. Thread that dude in and never look back.
