    picked up a jd catch can got a question pics inside

    where it connects its to tight of an area how are you guys mounting these??

    i guess the electric box cover has to come off to make this fit i really dont want to remove that might have to trim the catch can

    it looks like it could be remote mounted by the looks of those encased nuts, did a bracket come with it, or the hose?

    can the plastic fitting on the catch can be moved to the opposite side or is it fixed?

    no bracket or hose the encased nuts are on the wrong side of the can to make it inline with a hose i was gunna make a bracket i gotta take a peak at it in the morning i might trim it and let it fit snug between the elec.box and the motor with a short hose

    yea i guess i can drill and tap the other side i noticed how u did urs with a bracket

    thats your best bet, i used a plastic fitting from home depot and didnt even tap it i just pressed it in and its solid. also how i mounted mine with the bracket you can get the ebox lid on and off with out the catch can being in the way.

    trimmed the fitting alittle and it fits pretty good...u guys notice after u been riding awhile u get some smoke come out of the filter burning the oil?
