    X-Charger Upgrade?

My question is what exactly is the X-Charger upgrade. I hear it makes 20% more boost. Is the wheel modified or the housing ? I'd never heard of it before but saw it in the classifieds.

Not sure which one he is talking about, but the older X charger upgrade that I have, that came out before the XX and XXX upgrade is just a wheel and front housing.

Kinda wierd, Riva came out with the XX and XXX and now dont offer the one I have that I guess you could call single X upgrade.

The XX upgrade is a knockoff of the Mini rude and the XXX upgrade is a knock off of the 2 rude...As far as th upgrade you currently have now???I dont see it in the store..BUT if you went with the Mini Rude or XX upgrade it has more noticable performance than what the X upgrade has for around the same price...

So depending on which it is, i will have to get 42's i'm guessing. Will i need to get anything else? I was planning on going with just the stock X-charger becaue i'd maintain reliability and gain power without have to do any other modifications. (Besides possibly 42's sometime in the future.)

Okay i thought i read from Jerry that you only need 38's if your going to run your ski otherwise stock. So i was planning on picking up an X-charger and throwing on my riva intake over this winter. Right now the ski is completely stock except for the 14/19r solas.

I wouldnt run 38s with an X charger even if your running a stock IC..Ive AFR my wifes ski and even at idle up to bosst shes running a tad lean without adjustment......My opion????I wouldnt run an X charger without 42s with or without and an external ICer...Then once you add the external ICer you then need to add a RRFPR...

If you are talking about the X charger and not the X wheel then IMO with the X charger you need 42's if you have a 3" or 4" intake and stock IC. If you add an external IC then you need to add an RRFPR. I've run the set up in my sig for close to 100 hours and did not have an issue except for something that was entirely my fault - checking the slip. Also, one other opinion - if you get the X charger don't fill the oil hole.
