I guess it would have come in handy to get away from the "cousins" in Deliverance.

Other from that, this guy ruined a perfectly good ski. That ski looked like it was in really good shape until he wanted to go bass fishing with it.

He did a great job with that if you ask me. Work looked really good.

Not sure I belive 4" of water though. That intake would be sucking the rocks up in that shallow of water.

I agree it is nice work. I just wouldn't have destroyed a good machine to make it. I figure if you're going to go that far to build it he could have found a heap and built it back up. He only needed the bottom part of the hull to mount the motor and it didn't need to be in good shape.

I thought the same thing about the 4 inches of water too. The back end of that boat stays more than 4 inches beneath the surface so how is it that he didn't bottom out there?

Yeah. I would have scoured Craigslist to find an alternative to tearing apart a nice looking ski like that.

craftsmanship on that build was very sophisticated, & they were able to execute spot on! I think they were able to do a 180 gegree turn faster & sharper than I can get on a 750 slt. I thought it was rather cool and quite a conversation piece.

Actually I think this is a really cool build. But yes, I do hate the fact that a perfectly good ski was taken out of service to build it. You could scrap together all the parts no problem to build one from scratch.

Looks awesome though and I love the joystick!
