    RXT-X 260hp 2010 vs 255hp 2009 -is it worth 2k more?

Looking for comments from people who have owned or put a few hours on both models.

Is it really worth the extra $2,500 ?

    Option A) $12,999 2010 RXT-X 260HP /iControl

    Option B) $10,300 2009 RXT-X 255HP

You have the brake, and the s3 hull, and what seems so far no tunnel cracking issues....Oh and a whole 5 more HP! I really love my 2010 rxtx, I almost bought last years model last year, but am glad that I waited.

I would say go with the 2010, unless you want to mod it to go faster than 70, then it gets more complicated.

I agree this all the above. I will add that the S3 hull is a dry ride, no splash coming over the nose in choppy conditions. The ride is much better too.

That was just released today, actually. Unless you want an active suspension, go for that leftover 2010!

Depending on the added weight and ride quality, the adjustable suspension model RXT as 260 might be a great model. Waiting on prive too though.

I still haven't, and don't think I'll ever warm up to that active suspension. It adds a ton of weight and unnecessary weight to the ski... but for those riding in big waves, it is probably wonderful.

I have a friend who has a two suspended models (one is a 2009 Limited, the other is a 2010 - not sure which one), but I am hoping to try both this weekend. People who have them swear by them for riding in chop, but I never got a chance to ride a suspended model before buying my X this spring. After I ride one, I'll be in a better position to comment. One of the models my friend has is a Limited iS. The consensus is that there is too much pogo effect, but I'm advised that the Limited models have a softer suspension. Perhaps a non limited model with more adjustability is the perfect compromise (other than the added weight). Hopefully I will get a ride in this weekend on a suspended model. I'll keep you posted.
