How do you adjust idle RPMs on 2005 RTX 215 SC using a 2004 RXP ECU?

I have a 2005 RXT that I replaced the ECU with a 2004 RXP. The 2005 ECU went bad. I get good peformance with the 2004 ECU, 8000 RPM, but idles at 1800 RPM. On the throttle body the butterfly has a mechanical adjustment i.e. set screw. Question....do you adjust the idle via ECU or mechanic adjustment on the throttle body? Can the idle be adjusted with the ECU? Does anyone know of any other issues I may encounter changing from a RXT to a RXP ECU?

The wife and I get hit by water patrol at idle in the no wake we must use reverse to keep water patrol happy. Been told to take ski to dealer they idle to fast.

Pathetic ... 1800 is where the computer makes them idle. If the water patrol thinks THAT is too fast for no wake, they need to find some real work to do ... I often push it up to 2500 rpm to go thru long no wake zones. You don't manually adjust the throttle body or idle speed ... the computer and IAC always try for 1800 rpm.
