RXP engine rebuild
Anyone know of a good mechanic to rebuild a RXP motor in the Michigan area? I dont want to pay an arm and a leg to have it rebuilt. Also I want to mod the engine since it is all in pieces right now. Been trying to contact Rotax Racing to discuss porting the motor and getting their camshaft but nobody ever gets back with me. Since the motor needs a complete overhaul what do you all suggest I do with it.

Is it 500 miles round trip? Where is Mark? What you having done Pete? I figure since my motor is out and in pieces I might as well get everything done when putting it back together. What do you all recommend I should have done to the motor and other things on the ski?

Mark is in Canada, 45min N of Toronto. I live in Warren. I work on my own ski, but I don't re-build engines. Well lets put it this way, I already have stage 3, and going for the gusto

What went on your engine? And what do you mean by ''All in pieces''? I got the Racing ECU you will need if you get the cam and head porting

Alright, I live in Dearborn so it would be about the same drive for me.
I took my ski to the dealer and they took the thing apart to find out what is wrong with it. So now its all in pieces in my garage becasue I did not want to pay them 1700 in labor to fix my ski. I got a bent Rod becasue i took water in the engine.
