Does anyone have a picture of a ZXI Trim box with the updated boot installed?

I'm curious how you install it and how it looks afterwards. I'm assuming the cable has to be disconnected but not sure how to go about it. I am talking about the sure fix for letting water stay out (P/N 49016-3702)

    Thank you as always.

It goes on the back of the 'Ski. Remove the cable fitting from the nozzle, remove the socket (count the turns) and the locknut. Slide the boot on and secure with tie-wraps. Re-install the locknut & socket and connect the cable end to the nozzle.

No, you're not a fool. If you look at the parts book, it really doesn't say where it goes. If your boat didn't come with one, how would you know?

I've got one sitting on my workbench that I need to install on my old STS 750 this weekend.

Perhaps in a couple of days. My Ultra is 100 miles away.

I forgot that I had to install one of these on my STS 750. I took a picture when I had the ride plate off:

That's all? I guess it just deflects the water from traveling further up. Thank you because I'm not sure I would have done it like that. I might have thought it got butted all the way to the back but I see where water enters. Thanks!

That's all. The holes are different sizes, and the outer metal housing has barbs on it.
