    Exhaust Tips

Was looking at the thru hull exhaust options. I'm not real crazy about the plain styled tips. Couldn't they make them maybe alittle more aggresive looking. Maybe extend alittle bit with a slash clush. Which leads me to my idea. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I thought about using the riva or rotax alum replacement pipe and maybe one of these tips from http://www.rexmar.com/page230.html i would need silicone connecters and a plug for the stock exhaust hole.

I think the cost would end up being more but the looks would be killer. I like going fast but looking good when i let them catch up at the landing.

If some one who has a thru hull kit already could you measure the outlet peice. Looking for inside diameter- is the pipe diameter the same? What is the outside diameter of the flange on the outside of the hull.

So far i have only found 4" diameter and limited 3" diameter tips. Don't want anything that looks to huge-asian import muffler

    Cool!

I am getting readdy to start mods for the winter and this would be a cool custom change to do when the thru hull exhuast gets added on! I like it!

Find a tip with the metal tractor flap so that when the ski is sitting there idling you here the flapper slamming closed repeatedly. That would be intimidating

One more thought on this. Would the a flap inside affect anything such as performance. Help, hurt, no affect. I don't think a flap would have any purpose on a ski vs. a boat. The exhaust on a ski has the tall bend in it where a boats don't.

well we know its made for boats and if the boats didnt have those flappers water would go right to the engine when you turn it off

Nothing like shooting a gerbil at your opposition on a hole shot.
