    Waveraider bouncing

I find that the raider bounces alot.

    (1) How can this be fixed?
    (2) Noticed that a GP800 here had 2 plates bolted on the hull on each side of the ride plate. The fella told me that that will stop it from bouncing. Is that true?
    (3) Where could I find "what ever" that will stop the bike from bouncing.

Bouncing can be minimized with a variety of rideplates and shims but honestly, a Raider seat is mostly for looks. They aren't really true "sit-down" watercraft. Ride a Raider like a dirt bike - stand with your legs bent acting as shock absorbers when hitting rough or waves. This is the best way to live with the bounce.

That is how I ride....ride it like a dirt bike< but what happens is that it likes to just bounce the nose....even in flat water that have a tiny tiny waves.....My friend was the one who added two plates on either side of the ride plate which was attached to the hull.....that is what I am asking about really.....

RASTA,your bouncing is generally due to the nose rideing to high out of the water..
when this happens the pump sucks air.,then it looses thrust and the ski falls off plane..
a good scoop grate(generally a touch lower and it helps pulls the ski down into the water) will help to keep water in the pump and the above shimming of your plate (at the rear to help hold the nose down).I'd try to find a longer plate than stock, as this gives you more leverage...

a smaller diam nozzel may help also because it keeps the water in the pump longer..(this may get you a little faster but hurt your holeshot)

trim tabs may be designed for the raider??? (those plates you talk about ) but dont know if they are available anymore.E

Gonna research the ride plate. That would probably be the first thing. Do you have any suggestions of long plates?
