That noise you are hearing is the ski's motor hitting the rpm limiter and shutting off the spark to the coils momentarely which is not good on the engine or the superchager clutch sprag. You should learn to use throttle control and not just slam the throttle open at a idle IMO.

I have set rpm limit to 8500 but I can see in stock dash around 7000+

So i think it should not hit limit yet.

No others problem from this sound?

It would also help to keep the trim one click below neutral and keep your weight on the handlebars for the first 10 feet. Then in one motion, adjust the trim to neutral and shift weight to back of seat once on plane. You're not doing your ski any favors shooting the front of ski towards the sky and letting air into your intake grate.

If you watch some videos on youtube of past hydrodrags you'll see how those guys launch.

+1 nailing off the line like that and holding wide open on the throttle will do your engine no good and the clutch will fail in no time if you keep doing it,

Stock dash is totally useless on a Vipec set-up! even idle doesn't read accurately on that cheesy analog meter
You must check your data-logs to know your real rpm, or at least use a tachometer
Video sounds horrible, you are definitely hitting hard on the limiter, you will be changing your clutch soon...

It has more to do with the pressure of water coming through the nozzle than the rpm the ski is doing. Generally, it is damn near impossible to change the trim setting when you're doing 40 mph or faster. In the inital 10-15ft from a stand still romp, even though the rpm's are high. The speed of the ski is only in the 15-20mph range at that point.

On the rare occasion i race someone from a stop. I start 1 click below neutral with weight forward. After 10-15 ft, i click into neutral and sit back on ski. 30-40 ft I click 1 down past neutral.
