2006 rxt won't start
Hi, I have a 2006 rxt that's not long had a rebuild and today it would not start.... The starter motor just wiss and don't engage??? What can it be and how should I go about it??

any way the starter could have shifted??? only a long shot... its obviously not engaging no...

Assuming the battery is charged and in good condition. Id start with taking the starter out. But if that looks ok then your gonna have to take the PTO cover off. If thats the case then God bless you

was the starter bendix installed??
as dumb as it sounds, but could be the cause.

Starter bendix was installed and poss could have a bit of dirt or a metal filing in it from the engine seize???? And battery is brand new and tip top condition.

Any other ideas what route to go. And any one in the uk with a spare stock prop?

Your flyweel-bolts are 99% sure broken. You are spinning the flyweel, but it's no longer connected to the crank. But the supercharger is connected to the flyweel, that's why it's spinning.
Just had this happen on my friends ski... I'm waiting on parts to fix it... about $550 in parts... But you need to pull the engine to do the work.

sc out and with my fingers i can confirm this! BUT the bolt have had less than a hours use on them! its just undergone a full rebuild and i can confirm these bolts were put in correctly....... im lost??? why has this happened again???
