2000 Yamaha SUV with new SBT engine: cherry condition: what's it worth?

Does anyone know what this ski would be worth with the new engine and very nice/cream puff condition?

I disagree. I've had two of them with nothing but success.

do a search on here and you`ll find plenty of disaster stories. But glad you were one that had success, there aren`t that many...

Actually I haven't done it yet, but have had two good ones already. OK for the sake of discussion, let's replace SBT with a couple of the other reman vendors mentioned such as W.E.T. How much?

Add about $300 for a trailer if it has one. Not sure what the new engine is worth in terms of increased value? Maybe $500?

You do however have 2 strikes against you

    1) The economy

    2) The fact it's the end of riding season.

    couple of things to consider

first and foremost use the NADA for valuation, KBB is too high ( a bank will use NADA to calaculate loan value)..to be fair looka t both and go somewhere inbetween

how much of a warranty is left on that motor? ( you can call SBT with motor number to find out)

What happened to the original motor?..would suck to find out there was a problem that caused the first motor to blow that was not corrected..makign the second motor a short timer.

at the leastest a compression check to make sure things are even across the board.
