Exclamation 1100 wave raider ticking noise from engine!!!Help

well i thought it was about time to put some new plugs and check compression.
135, 130, 130 lbs ,, plugs didn't look bad at all but i changed them anyway.
hooked up hose and started her up AHHHHHH whats that i hear a quite loud ticking sound!!
it's seems to coming from rear of engine and it speeds up when i rev it a bit!!??
ok i take off coupling cover to check it ,, looks fine ,, turn it a bit from left to right to check for looseness, coupling seems ok but i feel a little something loose on the crank when turned left and right ?? loose rod, piston ?? runs fine and is completely stock.
and info or how to would be good!!!

well i found out what was making noise!! opened up top end after making sure coupling and bearing was fine and found that my pistons were slapping around and were making a ticking sound !!
cylinders look great but pistons worn way over specs.
i was looking at a wsm rebuild kit,, any good????
    any info would be great!!

Run Pro-X pistons and I would also change your cage bearings and thrust washers while your there. Set it up to be at 5 thou clearance...

You can get complete piston, pin and rings for around $100 each or less

I've had the WSM pistons bad out of the box quite a few times. You can go wrong with the Pro-X's.

I believe that Jerry sells them on the online store on this site? If not you can order them through Rivaracing.com
