Could I have fried my computer/ display controller
New guy here, Hello, I started my 2002 seadoo GTX 4-tec limited with the charger hooked up to it, it was on the 2amp setting, and then I noticed my gages were not coming on. Shortly after I noticed the warning stiker "Do not start while battery conected to power source" or something like that. Could anyone share any information with me on this issue?
Did my actions cause this ? Is there a simple fix?

i doubt it, but could be possible. check all your fuses and connections, and also check the ground going from the battery to the engine block make sure its not corroded, if you can and have a multi meter check fro continuity from the battery negative to the engine. This will tell you if the ground is grounded properly or not.

if no joy with that and its just he screen thats gone, check for corroded wires at the connector blocks in front of ski and leading up storage cover lid, there's a block that goes into the back of the display itsself where there could be one gone...
Hope you find the problem.
