A sad day at our house

WE had to say goodbye to the ski for the season. All winterized and battery pulled..........

I told my 7 year old that "dad had to take the ski to storage for the winter"............ and he broke down crying.

He actually went out to the garage and hugged the ski goodbye.......(I am not kidding)

He was sad until he learned that I was going to go get his and my snowmobiles in a few weeks. That brightened him up almost immediately..........

Anyone else have their kids miss the ski so much they were sad?

YOu got to love those little ones

i store my skis indoors and have a heater in my garage i use in the cold months... i take naps on the skis several times over the winter. feet up on the handlebars and back across the seat. i pass out for hours. my family cracks up when they come home and can't find me and see me sleeping on my ski in the garage or just sitting on it in silence in a trance
