    Advice Needed fitting Bump Strip

Someone struck my ski at the weekend and damaged the bump strip and gully strip

They have given me the cash for the parts plus a drink for my troubles

I can see the 2 nuts at the front and I'm guessing the new strip will slide under the rear corner rubber

I know the parts caterlog shows one screw behind the bump strip but is there anything else like clipping on etc when fitting it??

    Thanks
    Neil

    Hi Neil

Fairly straight forward job......undo the two nuts holding the front protector on & remove. Pull out the inner strip & then remove the self tappers that will be exposed. As you say...there is one screw behind the rear corner protector......I would drill out the 4 rivets holding that on & remove it. The rivets & caps are cheap & will save you the risk of damaging the rear protector trying to remove the screw with it in place.
