    701 & 1100 Waveraider Rideplate

I have been noticing that the 701 Raider has 4 holes for screws in the rideplate, when the 1100 has 6 holes for screws. Evidently there is a difference in the 2. However,
    (1) Are the ride plates the same size?
    (2) Can the 701 Rideplate be fabricated to be used on the 1100?
    (3) Looking for an extended rideplate for the 1100...What rideplate should I look at?

Looking for better heandling in the rough water. I ride in the ocean where the is always a chop. Need to keep the intake in the water more.

NO, The 701,760 Raider Plate does NOT fit 1100. Way shorter, been there tried that. I have not had a porpoising issue w/ my 1100, but the handling is sloppy. So I slapped on some Beach House sponsons (Huge Difference) and cut Rideplate even w/ rear of ski (loss of speedo) Turns on a dime!
