    I am clueless !?!

    Hey all,

So here is my issue... this weekend at the river my ski with 112 hours has trouble starting in water, it turns over fine but wont fire, then does so with a rough idle. Through the days this problem got worse. Secondly, IDK if it was getting flooded from cranking it or this is part of the issue but once it starts its runs as though its flooded or missing, RPMs drop and shoot for 2 - 10 seconds then clears out and will run flawlessly (except for rough idle) until you shut it off again.... If started immediately there after (off for less then 15 seconds) it will start right up.

I have tried nothing to fix it at this point, has fresh gas 91, was going to start with plugs.

Plugs are a good place to start.

Yeah, I will try that but the ski is about 3.5 hour drive from me so I need to take a few ideas with me... lolll.

Also, the ski will only reach 6500 RPMs now and will only do about 52, and being that I only had about a 30 minute test on the new impeller prior to the problems I can't remember if this is a result of the 11/19 or the above mentioned issues.

    Thanx for the advice !!!

If you are only getting 6500rpm's it may be your supercharger start with fresh plugs and cross your fingers.

Yea... plugs seems to be the common answer thus far. No SC on the ski as its the NA 155 so plugs it is for now. Like I said its stored out at the Colorado river which is 3 - 3.5 hours from me so I'd like to bring a few alternatives.

    Thanx so far guys

once you get the engine running smoothly, (plugs and /or coils)
I think you might need to adjust pitch on the prop. due to elevation AND
it's just an out of the box prop, most need a little tweaking

Hahah... no problem. So as I said I am new to all of this so what is the deal with "prop tweaking" feel free to link a thread if there is a good one discussing it for DIYers.

    Again, thanx for the help
