    Need help before i give shop ok!

    2005 rxp.how hard is it to replace the pto seals, Do i need special tools, I was a ford tech for 7 years so im pretty mechanically inclined. Its the pics i have circled. Thanks in advance for help

    The rubber boot and bearing you have circled at the left is not hard at all. Remove pump and driveshaft(that can be tricky without correct tools) to replace. I am doing that myself this weekend. The other is attached to the crankshaft. Not sure if that can be unscrewed without removing the engine. Maybe someone else can chime in. Why does that coupler have to be changed?

    i dont think its the whole coupler i think iys just the seal to the left of the coupler. Thanks for the quick reply

    That seal can be removed and replaced with a small pick tool its like an o-ring groove.

    i have a service manual pdf i can load the pics to photobucket then put them in posts

    Why replace the part in the engine you will be lucky to get it off the crank.
    You will need a tool to get the driveshaft clip out.
