First long ride on my new RXP-X.

I just finished riding on lake Michigan this evening. I took my 8yr old son with me, and I gotta say I LOVE this ski. I was torn between getting a three seater so I'd have more stability for riding with my boy and having the monster that I really wanted for riding alone. This ski meets both requirements in mild chop.
The acceleration on this thing is wow, and it sounds like a muscle car when you hit it.
In short , I'm really diggin' my first Sea Doo.

P.S. Did the bucket mod before I went out. Can't really say if anything changed performance wise.

No doubt...I said I would never own another ski after my headache of an Ultra250X. After getting my X, I can't see myself riding anything else. I have a 6yr old daughter who loves speed, she knows one speed....wide open. lol Have you done the R&D intake grate yet. I know you had inquired about it on the other topic. It's worth every penny plus some in regards to mph. Its a HUGE difference. GPS it before and after, you'll be shocked.

Haven't done the grate yet, I'm going to try and hook up with "thedirtyburd" someday to try out a different grate setup. I'm guessing from what he told me, that the Worx grate may be a better match for my riding conditions. "better hook up and tracking in chop" But I guess at that point, I don't know what I'd be gaining over the stock grate which already seems to perform really well in the chop.

I do mostly river riding so I was more concerned with top speed and not as much worried about rougher conditions. Keep us posted on your results and good luck.
