    Rxp Handlebars

I got a friend whos asking if its possible to buy some aftermarket bars that are able to mount to stock handlebar hardware and the on button and trim mounts onto easily to? Or do you need to buy like a whole set up like the UMI one? He wiped out bad and bent his bars going off and wants some new ones.

bars, switch holder, switches, grips, and finger throttle are all aftermarket. i guess u could very easliy use all the stock stuff except the bars but i think wouldnt look as good. i also painted the "steering column" black.

mxl... what kind of button holder is that? ... looks different than the typical UMI button setup.

its from hot products usa. its for the older style round switches so u need to get a set of used vts buttons off of an older xp (doesnt matter wat year, theyre all the same). about $30 on ebay.

redevil... you can put UMI bars on a stock ski.. but then all the black plastic components and pad and whatnot can't be used i dont think...

mxl.. so replace the buttons with older style buttons, sure.... how do the buttons come apart? cut the wires and splice it? u can crack the buttons open and put these on instead? .. i like that setup much better than the new style buttons myself i think. is that a 3-button holder for start/stop and the VTS? or only VTS? can't tell if there's another button on the top of the housing or not.

where did you put the mode-set buttons?

thanks! ... asking bc i'm ordering all my UMI setup stuff this week, complete setup tho

The new 07 stock bars are 3 inches wider and you can buy the hardware to change the angle as well. It is all bolt on and remains stock.
