Just fitted a set of Riva ones to my 2004 XLT1200.
I was wondering what results you might have had once fitted as i am a bit unsure of mine. also a picture would be good just to see if they are the same .

Steve your pretty much going to get alot less chine walking which is the side to side feeling at speed. More sensitive steering, I would keep them set so they sit higher of the 2 wholes meaning use the lower most hole to keep the sponson up. No speed gains just handling.

Handling was greatly improved when I put the Riva sponsons on my XLL!
