Losing My Virginity / RXP MAKEOVER
Well after a creapy amount of stalking on these Forums I thought I would try and make my first post half decent..
After being bitten by the bug I could not think about anything else accept modding my RXP. Found this forum and then the great online store. Did a littleshopping.
OPAS Block offs & Spnsons.
Rear exhaust with shorty box.
HKS SSQV III BOV & Fizzle IC.
Thanks to everyone who imputs valuable info on Greenhulk. Thanks Gerry for shipping the items to Aus so quickly. Saved a packet by getting the gear from the states and fitting it myself. Also had a ball getting my hands dirty.
My next step is to fit the 08 Spec C-Kit SC I have sitting at home. Can I just fit a Riva ECU, #50's, valve retainers and fuel reg?? Do I need a fuel pump as well? or is this set up not right? Should I go for a riva fuel reg?
Is there anything major in setting up the ECU, fuel reg and fitting valves? Or am i better off leaving this to the pro's. How can check AF rations to ensure I dont have a major failure.
I am mechanically minded and no dramas fitting the gear mentioned previously, but I must admit that the ECU, fuel reg and tuning seems like it maybe a bit beyond me.
Thanks for ypur help in advance.

Congrats and welcome to GH.....To answer some of your questions Yes you can fit the ECU with 50s and retainers on..as far as a Regulator i would recommend it..You will probley need to make some AFR adjustments and the Reg. will help you aid in doing this..Theres nothing major to setting up the ECU...You will need to re-pitch your prop though or get a new one(15/22 is what i would recommend) and Yes the Riva Regulator setup is a decent setup...As far as Checking your AFRs you will need to purchase either a LM-2 or LC-1..These are what is used to check/monitor your AFRs..Then once purchased you will need to have your J-pipe fited with an O2 sensor bung...after that you should be good to go with just some minor tuning and tweekeing..

The Riva ecu is very easy to work with, that and the 50s plus a RRFPR will do you fine for fueling but you will need to get some sort of AF gauge setup so you can monitor your AF ratios, you need to be below 12:1 AFR at WOT
Me personally would fit a Walbro fuel pump its a replacement for a subraru and goes straight in. Just makes sure your safe thats all. R88
