    Difference in 785 carbs

What exactly is the difference between the '97 Pro 785 carbs and the '98+ carbs?
I know the jetting is different and it has been stated that the '97 carbs are hard to tune, but what makes them different?

The 97's have two booster ports and the 98+ have three booster ports. This pic is from a set of 98+ notice the three ports its hard to get a pic as the holes are small.
