Thread: Bow Stops

What does everyone use for a bow stop? My Triton came with blue little ones. They didn't seem to leave marks or wear on the gel coat, but they were so narrow they don't even spread across the bow eye recess on either ski. I used some black Y bow stops for awhile. They always turned down and left black marks, but did wear on the hull. I currently was using some large 3 piece yellow polysomething from a company called Stoltz I believe (got them at Bass Pro Shops). They worked good since they reached across the bow eye recess, but they are not friendly to the gel coat. I was thinking of just going to the original blue ones, I just wish they reached across they bow eye. Maybe they shouldn't I guess, that would stop them from rubbing the gel coat.

Post a photo of how you normally have the hull resting against the bow roller.
The roller is positioned above the bow eye, correct?

Crap, I just noticed someone replied. I will get a pic tomorrow or the next day. I have the original blue Triton rollers on now. As crappy as they fit against the hull, they seem to do the least damage.
