    Hudson River/Newburgh area

    Hey guys,
I'm new to the site, and am buying a ski in a couple weeks or so (hopefully) I have it lined up but need to sell my boat first. I was just wondering how many people are around the Wappingers, Newburgh, Poughkeepsie area. I hope I can get it in the water before it gets too cold, otherwise I will see you out there next season.

Just looking to see who's out there and feel the site out a little bit.

    Tedbo, Welcome to the Hulk.

There are quite a few regular riders at Newburgh. I get out most weekends (black & green or maroon & white GPR)

What ski and what type of riding are you looking for?

I'm buying an RXP. I used to have a Polaris about 5 years ago, then I bought a boat last year, havent gotten too much use out of it so I'm getting rid of that and getting back into riding. I will be looking for some screw around trips, and sometimes some runs either to the TZ Bridge or a little further or maybe up north. I launch from the Wappingers boat launch so I will be in the area.

Hey guys, I havent been on the site in a while....how was everyones winters?? I took the rxp out for the first time the other day and I am hooked, the thing hauls.

The only bad thing was, I had an issue starting. When I hit the start button, it would either do nothing except for what sounds like a relay kicking on, or it would try to crank very slowly and not start. Eventually it started.....

I have since replaced the battery which didnt help. I am wondering if it could be a relay problem so I went on ebay and bought a new starter relay. If there is anything else I should check let me know, it would be much appreciated

Sounds like it could be the starter r Solenoid.

I will be out this weekend. Most likely around Stony Point Bay Marina but I might head up north too.
