2010 RXT-X zero hours and maintenance light already

Im sure its just the same code as others have experienced but geez can a dealer not prep these skis properly. I just brought it home last night so I didnt do much with it. I went out tonight to check out a few of the differences between this and my old 08 RXT-X and decided to plug the keys in and make sure I got the two beeps. Well I did, followed by the maintenance required light. ugh. owell dropping it off tomorrow to have em clear it and hopefully do some riding this weekend.

YUP, mine did the same thing. The dealer didn't have the update in BUDS when I picked it up. You can ride for a while without getting it reset. Some guys just waited till the 10 hr service.

You are correct, your dealer was supposed to hook up buds for service hour reset. You can ignore it till the 10 hour check if you want.

Check and recheck all hose clamps, especially sc to ic and ic to tb. Steering bolts.
Check all bolts, pump area, etc......
    Have fun

Emphisis on the pump support bolts. Check them and/or reloctite them to 22 ft lbs. ALOT of us have had them come loose or break off inside ride plate(that is UGLY!)

Yea Im sure its the same as you guys experienced, Im going to go ahead and let them reset it now as, the selling dealer will likely not be the dealer I use all the time.

Same exact thing happened to me. My problem was a bad off idle steering sensor was bad. When the dealer replaced it, the replacement sensor was bad as well..lol 3rd time was a charm and off to the water I went. I am sure they will get you going in no time.

Posts like these just makes me wanna go and buy a new doo. Brand new with maintenance warning, lose bolts and clamps. All you have to do is remove all the bolts and locktite yourself. Not acceptable in my book and sad to see this from seadoo.

I love my ski and would not trade it for any other. This sounds like a dealer mistake not a problem with Sea-Doo its self.
