The Rotax high boost impeller is much better than the standard Riva/Vortec impeller.

Are you speaking of the new Riva stage 3 sc impeller with modified front housing? If so then this one is better as it produces more boost and moves a greater volume of air with its taller blade design (hence the need for a modified front housing)

The Rotax impeller is definately a step up from the old Riva/Vortech impeller.

The impeller on my Les Cooke B kits look nothing like any of the other impellers. Maybe the Les Cooke A kit impeller does?

The rotax impeller was originlly supplied to rr by les then they copied his A kit impeller.

Is the B-kit SC machined in front and back to fit a bigger or taller wheel?

Both the front and rear housings are machined on a B kit to accomodate a bigger and taller SC wheel.
