Riva power filter kit or R&D Power plenum filter kit

Does anybody have experience with either of these mods. I have a FZS with grate and ride plate and I am looking for the next mod to do and one of these two came to mind. I am too unhandy to design a homemade version. Does the Riva give me any added performance for an extra $120 over the r&d?

    Thanks,
    Chuck

The Riva powerfilter is designed to suck in cold air form the front of the hull where as the R&D air intake sucks air from infront of the hot engine thus lowering RPMs. I have the riva powerfilter and I prefer it over the R&D filter because where it is placed there is a significantly less chance of water getting into the intake where as the R&D is placed where some water gets in through the handle bars. If you are a offshore rider than go with the Riva powerfilter hands down but if you are only riding in flat water then I would go with the JD cold air intake.
