Wicked riding area! Nice channels and calm water. Looks like you waited too long to turn and avoid the tree. Dont think aftermarket sponsons would have helped much. I just put on WORX sponsons to test this weekend. Looks like those Sea Doos giving you a run for your money.

That was rider error nothing to do with the sponsons you are lucky the tree was small.

I would contact the Yamaha dealer, the ski has a bad case of "Target Fixation".
Contact at 3:48 into the video.

Pretty cool riding area. Water looks shallow. Must not be rocky on bottom.

That's pretty dangerous to ride in between trees at the speed these skis develop, glad you are ok.

It's not the sponsons it looks as though you came of the gas and the ski had no thrust to turn. But btw which mount did you use for your GoPro ?????

what horifies me is at some points in that journey you apear to be alone, i hate to say this but what if you were to hit a tree and hurt yourself while out of view of other riders, not trying to be your parants here or anything but it looked like a game of ticking time bomb and the wick looked mighty short.. stay safe buddy

Damn, looks like if you didn't hit the tree you would have hit your buddy coming up from your right.
