    Riva metal washer problem

I recently removed the metal washers from my 04 supercharger. I noticed that the surface of the washers was chewed up as well as the surface of the gear. Has anyone ever seen this or is it normal? Causes? I was running synthetic oil in it and the slip was a little low for a while and some occasional big wave wot runs. Any experience with this would be great!

alot of us run syn oil in our skis w/o issues. As long as it is Wet Clutch complaint then its fine to use.

Continuing to run a supercharger that's known to be slipping will cause rapid wear on the washers and gear.

I ran the charger for about 25 hours before checking the slip after I installed the washers, after your input Jerry Im guessing that was what did it. Classic case of owner abuse! Gonna keep a closer eye on my new charger and the TX.
    Thanks

I have a C3 charger with Riva 72hrs on the charger riva washers installed at 18hr... I have never had to adjust the slip and i beat the heck out of my ski in the chop (lake Erie)... Guess i got a good batch lol... Slip is at 10.5flb's and make 10-10.5lbs of boost..
