Question About Fuel Filter On OLD 750 'Skis
I've got a couple of old 750 JetSkis for the kiddos to play on; '95 STS 750, and '93 Super Sport Xi. Both have a white plastic canister with a black screw-on ring located at the front of the engine compartment, above the fuel tank. Both boats run fine, but I don't have any fuel in either 'filter'. Just wondering if this is really a filter, it doesn't have anything in it. I think I've seen it referred to as a water separator once.
Does anybody know what these things do? Should they have a filter element in them? Why is there no fuel in them?
