Thread: Intercooler parts

I bought the intercooler from siliconeintakes. I bought some couplers thinking thats what I would be needing, bought the wrong ones. Anybody have a list of what all the couplers and piping I will need from them? Thanks.

Assuming you are using 2.5" pipe...
Where are you mounting it ? For an XS style you need.
2- 3 to 2.5" couplers
1- 2.5" coupler
2- 2.5" 45 degree coupler unless using 45 degree pipe for the charge side then its just 1 for the throttle body side

Thanks, thats a good view there. Damn that ski is nice bro.
mrbtd thanks for the list. I have those parts, just missing the one piece and may explain why I ran into my problem.
But I may go Inks way there as that looks pretty sharp.

Inks set up is nice there. That hump hose connector on the S/C really makes a difference when trying to get things lined up. It is very forgiving. I also like the idea of just straight pipe when using the reducing 45 degree coupler (3 to 2.5").

Thanks guys. Extremepsi.com has some nice couplers. The quality is much better than most of whats out there. They also have walbro's and injectors priced cheap. Actually its where r&d buys their injectors
