The "M" means they are metric, the "8" is the thread size. Try and find the 3/4" long ones so they don't extend into the path of airflow. However, the more common 1" will do if you use a flat and lock washer.

I used two of the 3" to 2.5" silicone reducers from here:

    http://www.siliconeintakes.com/detai...90f49cde940b8d

Then two of the 2.5" aluminum bends from here:

    http://stores.channeladvisor.com/ver...-P?sck=2705885

    One of these:

    http://www.siliconeintakes.com/detai...8aa1c2443c09d4

    And one of these:

    http://www.siliconeintakes.com/detai...8aa1c2443c09d4

Cut 3" off one end of the first 45 degree tube, and 1" of one end of the other 45 degree tube.

The bracket is a piece of 1" aluminium angle stock, 8 1/2" long with 7/16" holes drilled 7 1/2" inches apart center to center.

Now, if you use this method and need to know which pipe goes where... you'll have to give up the secret
